School Associations
School associations exist to serve their member schools. They typically provide a variety of support services to free up individual schools so that they can focus on their primary mission.
One of the most urgent needs of every school is the need for suitable report card templates for use at the end of each term to report student progress to the parents of their students.
This is a highly visible form of communication which will receive careful scrutiny by parents.
Given the amount of time which is required to design effective report card templates for each division, this is a service which can profitably be provided by the school association to which a school belongs.
Overseer Reports was designed with this objective in mind. A committee of a school association can design report card templates for shared use by many schools. Each template can be saved as a single file, supplemented by the custom logo of each member school. Before distribution, the name, address and mission statement etc. may be customized for each school.
The school association may retain copyright for these designs, and sell them to individual schools.
Each school can install the design files directly through Overseer Admin, for each class in turn. Once the appropriate marking schemes are defined, and teacher responsibilities assigned, these templates will be immediately available for use by teachers.
