Free Software for Small Schools
Our pricing policy aims to give small schools a break. We know first hand the financial constraints associated with start-up schools and, at RSI, we believe that small is beautiful!
Download our free software, install it on your PC and you will be operational very quickly. Alternatively, place an order for a free installation CD (plus a small shipping charge) if you do not have Internet access on your target PC.
If you require technical support after installation, there is a charge of $198 for the first year of email support, and $99 annually for subsequent years.
All three Overseer applications (Admin, LAN and Grades) may be installed and used by one person without purchasing a software license. However, you will need an Overseer Admin site license in order to enrol more than 75 students in your school or to install additional licenses for Overseer LAN or Overseer Grades. Upgrade options are available to convert your support license to a software license with continuity of support.
Pricing for Larger Schools
An Overseer Admin site license is required to enrol more than 75 students in your local school or to install additional licenses for Overseer LAN or Overseer Grades. The license comes with an activation key to fully enable the application posted on our web site. You may download our free software, install it on your PC and evaluate it using the demonstration database before making a commitment to purchase a software license.
Authorization for more than one teacher to use Overseer LAN or Overseer Grades may be acquired by purchasing a site license, or one or more 5-user licenses of the respective products. Three 5-user licenses of either product are equivalent to a site license. A site license provides the extra benefit of a Specialist password for global access to all classes and students (via Overseer LAN) or to any teacher's Grades database (via Overseer Grades).
We offer special pricing for an Overseer Suite site license which includes site licenses for all three applications.
Our Overseer Reports report card design software is not available for download but may be purchased via the order forms provided below.
One year of email support is included with each software license purchased. Support may be renewed annually for 20% of the current price of the associated products.
