Software
The latest software for any of the applications (Admin, LAN and/or Grades) in the Overseer Suite may be downloaded for installation and immediate use within any independent elementary school. Simply download the relevant installation file to your PC. Since some of the installation files are over 15 MB in size, they may take an hour or more to download, depending upon the speed of your modem.
If the target PC on which you want to install any of the Overseer applications is different from the one to which you download the installation file, you will need to copy the downloaded file to the target PC. If there is no high capacity drive (e.g. a file server or ZIP drive) available for transferring this file, use a multi-volume zip utility to copy the file using 1.44 MB diskettes as the transfer medium (e.g. download and use an evaluation copy of the WinZip software from www.winzip.com).
Installation of Overseer Admin
Download self-exploding file SA_1901.exe to your PC. Create a new directory on the target PC (e.g. C:\Overseer\Admin) and copy the installation file into it, then execute the file to explode it in place. Read the Install (Admin19).doc file for current installation information which may apply to your site, then install Overseer Admin by running the Setup program.
Installation of Overseer LAN
Download self-exploding file SL_1901.exe to your PC. Create a new directory on the target PC (e.g. C:\Overseer\LAN) and copy the installation file into it, then execute the file to explode it in place. Read the Install (LAN19).doc file for current installation information which may apply to your site, then install Overseer LAN by running the Setup program.
Installation of Overseer Grades
Download self-exploding file SG_1900.exe to your PC. Create a new directory on the target PC (e.g. C:\Overseer\Grades) and copy the installation file into it, then execute the file to explode it in place. Read the Install (Grades19).doc file for current installation information which may apply to your site, then install Overseer Grades by running the Setup program.
